-Storyline (8/10)
Interesting idea for a movie, and some of the time I felt like the story wasn’t really going anywhere, especially at the beginning.
-Acting (9.5/10)
I was very impressed with Will Smith’s acting, as usual. It was a very unusual role for him, contrasting with his usual comical characters, but I thought he was excellent. I know that most young kids aren’t fantastic actors, but I think Jaden did a pretty good job.
-Visual Effects & Filming (10/10)
Creative angles, capturing feelings and emotions, helped to set the mood of the scenes.
-Writing & Scripting (10/10)
Excellent writing overall. The thing I liked the most was how it portrayed that everyone else took everyday things for granted. I particularly liked the scene where the man needed to borrow $5 from Christopher for the taxi, but he didn’t realize how much it was worth to Christopher.
-Soundtrack (9/10)
The music helped to keep the story moving and setting the mood in certain scenes, like a good soundtrack should. A nice theme song, cheerful and fun.
-Overall (46.5/50)
I liked this movie very much overall. Great story, pulled off amazingly by the actors and writers.
